Senior Consultant Role at Prismark Partners

Your Role:

As a Senior Consultant, you will:

  • Lead and Innovate: Spearhead team-based projects, conducting in-depth research and analysis on topics such as semiconductor and packaging assembly markets, electronic materials and global electronics industry trends. More research will be conducted in all the market segments Prismark serves, computers, communication, consumer, automotive, industrial, medical, military/aerospace and the entire electronics industry supply chain from electronic materials to components.

 

Other research may include:

  • Printed Circuit Board Market/Materials/Fabrication

  • Wired/Wireless Communications and RF Hardware

  • Teardown Analysis

  • Mergers and Acquisitions

 

  • Strategize and Advise: Provide strategic solutions to clients, addressing their business needs with your expertise in varying areas of the electronics industry. ​

 

  • Communicate and Present: Craft comprehensive custom reports and deliver compelling presentations to clients, showcasing your findings and recommendations.​ Participate in authoring one or more of Prismark’s quarterly publications and Discovery series.

 

Who We're Looking For:

  • Interest in the electronics hardware industry and supply chain

 

  • Educational Excellence: Background in Engineering, Science, or Business. A Master's degree is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. ​

 

Industry Experience: Knowledge of printed circuit board fabrication, materials, tools, and or semiconductor device fabrication and packaging assembly. 5 to 7 years of specialized experience in one of the following domains:​

 

Semiconductor Device Fabrication and Packaging:

  • In-depth understanding of semiconductor device architectures and fabrication technologies, focusing on their impact on back-end processes, wafer and device-level testing, package assembly and testing, and thermal management.​

  • Specific experience in wafer-level processing and packaging, power devices, and semiconductor functions.​

  • Familiarity with technical challenges in advanced node wafer fabrication and managing supply chain disruptions in semiconductor manufacturing.​

​Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Materials and Fabrication:

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with materials, equipment, and processes involved in the fabrication of both bare and assembled PCBs.​

  • Proven track record as a process, manufacturing, or development engineer in PCB production environments.​

  • Familiarity with industry standards and certifications related to PCB design and manufacturing.​

 

Electronics Materials:

  • Broad knowledge of the materials used to fabricate and assemble electronic components and systems.

  • Understanding of the physics and chemistry that impacts material selection.

  • Understanding of economic constraints impacting materials selection.

  • Familiarity with leading electronic materials suppliers.

 

Wired/Wireless Communications and RF Hardware:

  • Experience in the design, product development, and manufacturing of high-speed digital or wireless hardware subsystems.​

  • Proficiency in analog component and subsystem design, optoelectronic systems, and component design.​

  • Understanding of RF/microwave theory, transmission line theory, antenna theory.​

 

Skill Set: Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality consulting services in the electronics industry. Strong research capabilities, data interpretation, and writing skills.​

 

Adaptability: Willingness to travel and engage with clients globally.​
